SMOKE AND CO2 DETECTOR PROGRAM FOR TUBAC FIRE DISTRICT RESIDENTS

posted Jul 7, 2015, 12:36 PM by Michael Lindsey
The Tubac Fire District has received smoke detectors with a 10-year life battery and CO2 detectors for community disbursement from a joint grant program with the Rio Rico Fire District.  Installation of the detectors is conducted by District personnel who have been trained through the program.  A home safety survey is also offered along with the installation.  The safety survey is not required, but may be helpful in identifying home safety concerns that may be overlooked.    The crews are not qualified to check hard wired detectors and will only install the battery operated ones adjacent to existing detectors.  A liability form will be required to be signed.  An appointment can be scheduled by calling our main office at 398-2255.
